Vampire Knight

Anyone that has seen my blog for my drawings know that I love manga style of art. Well I have brought a new book (which isn't really any news to those who know me as I love books!), but I thought I would go with the style I love drawing. I have watched Vampire Knight and simply adored it, I found the book in my local book shop and thought I'll give it a go.

But there are something's that you should know before buying any manga books.....

1) The books are meant to be read from right to left. No you read right, right to left.

2) You read it from the speech bubbles from the right to left, that's how the Japanese write, so the spine of the book is on the other side of the book.

So anyways on to my thoughts of the book......

I thinks it's quite simple. I love it. But it seems to me that I love most of the books I read! Oh well. Maybe I'll read something or watch something that I can't get into. Anyways I am getting side tracked which is far too easy for me. So vampire knight. I love it, I don't want people to think 'oh it's another twilight story' or 'not another vampire story', well it is another vampire story but it's different.

Yuki's earliest memory is of a stormy night in winter, where she was attacked by a vampire... And then rescued by another, Kaname. Now ten years later, Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross, has grown up and become a guardian of the vampire race, protecting her childhood crush, Kaname, from discovery as he leads a group of vampires at the elite boarding school. But also at her side is Zero Kiryu, a childhood friend whose hatred for the creatures that destroyed everything he held dear leaves him determined never to trust them. This coexisting arrangement seems all well and good, but have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions? Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems. And the price of misplaced trust may even be worse than death. Should Yuki truly find out what was in her past, is the truth going to hurt her worse than not knowing? I don't want to give too much away for those who haven't read it and would like too.

This is another way to say that Vampires exist and only a few people know the exist. But Vampire Knight is different. It is almost like Vampires has a higher-archy, like social class. So let me explain the pyramid!. At the top of the pyramid you have the Pure Bloods. There isn't many left. Also something that is different... Vampires can have children. Purebloods have no trace of humans in their Ancestry. The lowest of the pyramid is  Level E. They are vampires that no longer have any humanity left. They only have bloodlust Only a certain family can kill vampires (Que in a Buffy the vampire slayer style family). That's right.  Vampire slaying is a family thing. They are trained from when they are young, then they are giving assignments when they are full trained. The assignments are to slay level E vampires.Well I really hope you take the time to buy and read this story, or even Watch the series l will post the link to a website that l have used previously.

The vampire diaries

Okay so this post shall be the successful TV series and not the book series. I am a fan of the show. I must admit I didn't know what it was until the Facebook app got me sucked in. With the app I wanted to know the reason behind it so I brought season 1 on DVD. I liked it. The first episode of any new show is getting to know the characters. I loved them all they all have their likeability. Elena, Bonnie and Caroline are the best of friends and I like how they are always there to help their friends, no matter what. So far (at this moment in time I'm up to season 4) the story line has been amazing. And there have been some unthought of  story lines like  werewolf vampire breeds. I also like that they have done double gängers and looking for a cure for the vampire curse.

I love the actors and actresses in the show. Some are known and some are unknown. But I think it's a great cast and they all connect really well. I feel that they are always trying for their fans of the show and even of the fans of the book series. It's a great cast and I couldn't imagen anyone else playing those parts.

This show I would recommend to any vampire loving people. Sorry there are no sparkling vampires named Edward. Although in an episode there is a mention of twilight.  But you'll have to watch it to find out the episode. Then keep on watching because you will find out more and I hope you'll think the TV show is great

Tell me, who is your fave character?? or actor?? What you liked about it or didn't. I would love to know what you guys think of the show.

Something new (at last)

We'll it has been a long time since I have been on here and I'm slightly embarrassed. But anyways, I know I haven't been here in a while and I would like to say Hi and thanks for sticking around. But today isn't a review it's something important (well I think it is you may think differently!). So here it goes.... I am growing my hair to make a wig for children who have cancer. I know many people have done it in the past. I decided it a few months back and I know that it is going to take a while for it to grow before I am gonna get it made into a wig. And in can't wait for it 😉

Anyways it's just a small update from me, I will post if anything new comes along ect...

TTFN!
