Confessions of a teenage drama queen

I'm not talking about the film starring Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox...

I'm talking about the book by Dyan Sheldon...

It is similar to the film, Lola Cep (or Mary which is her birth name) moves from New York to New Jersey. Lola and Carla Santini are sworn enemies from day one. I would say the main difference is the end. The end is just after the play of Eliza Doolittle, Carla congratulated Lola on her performance in the play. Yea, I was shocked too.

Anyways I generally liked the book. I only wished I read the book before I saw the film. Because I couldn't get my own representation of the characters I only saw the actresses in the film. But other than that I thought it was good.  I would recommend this book to you. If you like the girly stuff, but I'm not really into it but this book wasn't too girly. It's what most girls do. I mean going to school, going to concerts with their friends and girls who think they are better than everyone else and popular. To be honest I never got the clique thing. If you talk to each other and hang out. Your friends end of story. Don't listen to what every one else says. And now I am going off topic.

Did you know this book had as equal. It's called My Perfect Life.  Maybe they should have made that into a film. But to be honest I couldn't get into that book and I don't think I even finished the book. But I recommend you read confessions of a teenage drama queen before my perfect life as the film and book are not completely the same.
